About Geoff Potter

Geoff Potter began taking surf photos in the Bells Beach area of Victoria in the early 1970s. Since moving to Queensland in 1980, Geoff has continued his love affair with the ocean, becoming a Life Member of the Sunshine Beach Surf Lifesaving Club. Over the last 20 years, Geoff has been collecting many beautiful images of Noosa and its surrounds.

Geoff now works as a photographer for Sunshine Coast Newspapers - but his passion is still images of the ocean. When the swell comes he can be found perched somewhere taking beautiful photos of waves, while the surfers just catch the waves, often unaware their images are captured forever on film.
